is there a way to exclude xrefs from the selection? maybe a lisp of something similar?

what i need is to snap to the xref but not select it and accidentally modify it. locking the xref layer works but still i dont want it selectable... maybe i am asking too much...

Hmmm... we've had this question before & I'm not sure we came up with a watertight solution... I'll see if I can find it...

worked great! and i could snap to it, and it didn't bog the computer down

only problem is that i couldnt switch off layers... even though i included the layer info in the dwf

I believe this is on the current AUGI wishlist, so You need to sign up and do some voting.
