is there a way to exclude xrefs from the selection? maybe a lisp of something similar?
what i need is to snap to the xref but not select it and accidentally modify it. locking the xref layer works but still i dont want it selectable... maybe i am asking too much...![]()

hmmm... thanks... useful thread. i'll try saving the xref as dwf then xreffing the dwf and set imageframe to 0. i'll tell you how it goes later since i'm a bit busy to experiment

may be we need to add this to augi wishlist. i have heard about ti from this forum only
worked great! and i could snap to it, and it didn't bog the computer down
only problem is that i couldnt switch off layers... even though i included the layer info in the dwf
