In a nutshell, I create 3D models from the client's CAD files or design sketches, which I then use to produce high quality rendered images. Click on the link in my signature to view my portfolio. I'm always looking for work, so let me know if you need any renders. :)

Vray materials are a combination of several images and a shader file, that when combined, create the material that gets applied to your model. These materials are for use in programs like 3DS Max and others that can use the Vray renderer. I don't think you'll have much success trying to use them in Autocad.

What sort of materials are you looking for?

Here's are some good websites for textures:
    http://www.cgtextures.com/
    http://www.accustudio.com/exchange/textures.php
    http://www.noctua-graphics.de/english/fraset_e.htm

There are lots of these sites all over the net. Just use Google and search for "CG Textures"

Or get out your camera and take your own pictures and turn them into textures for your models.

Here's a tutorial on how to make tileable textures: http://highpoly3d.com/writer/tutoria...e/seamless.htm
