Are you snapping the text to an endpoint or something? If the Z value of your text changes, the text will appear thicker. Make sure your text is at Z0.

I am snapping to an end point of an object as i have multiple plan layout so i am aligning the text in the same positions. The Z value of my text is 0 but the problem still occurs.

When we swapped from SHX fonts to TTF fonts, all the text suddenly appeared thicker. You get used to it, but it does plot correctly.

    Hi guys,
I can't seem to find a solution to this problem. As Rory47 said, Z values are 0 but the text still appears thicker when copying to a point of an object. Note, this problem does not occur when copying text to open space i.e. not snapping the end point. Please answer if you know what to do. Rory, have you figured it out?
