Default Including siding in custom wall styles?

Having trouble and wanted to ask if anyone knew a solution..

I've been experimenting with making custom wall styles with architecture 2008. I'm familiar with how to make custom wall styles and there are a few ways of doing it, but how do you actually make a custom wall style and put a finished exterior on it like vinyl siding or whatever? Each layer of a wall has individual properties that are different within the wall style manager. But under "materials" there is not even siding as an option..

I usually use the method of clicking
    Format>Style Manager>Architectural Objects
then I select "wall styles", right click it and select "NEW"

This method lets you preview the work by clicking "apply" each time (I noticed if you edit the wall style of a wall after inserting it in model space, you can't preview it before clicking "OK. I hate that).

any help would be awesome. If you can create a wall style that displays gypboard, sheething, and everything else you need in your wall, shouldn't you also be able to make it show siding or at least some kind of finished exterior? That way you can make it look at least decent in the elevations
    Thanks!
