Ok, after finishing my clock for the current competition, (If you haven't seen it yet, you can check it out here), I decided to do another clock. You can't hang this one on your wall though.

    As always:
    Designed in Autocad 08
    Modeled in 3DS Max 9
    Rendered with Mental Ray
    Rendered images composited in Photoshop
Total time spent on project = 3 days

Have you ever seen the wall mounted ones ?

The highest village in Europe, St Veran @ 2200m, has them on all the houses.

    Thanks for the comments guys.

This project actually ended up being a bit more complicated that I intially thought it would be. There was quite a lot of intricate detail work in this piece that I didn't really take into consideration. I thought this would be a walk in the park, but it ended up being a bit of a challenge. But since I'm always up for a challenge, it was good fun and it ended up being a nice addition to my small, but growing, collection.

I've never seen those wall mounted sundial's before. I didn't even know that was possible.
So there ya go, I learned something new today.
