Finally the last workstation here has AutoCad 2008 (don't ask what took so long to get everyone on the same page). Now I've been asked to review the best way to implement associative dimensions in a standard for everyone to use. This will be more fun than pulling teeth. Currently, some users dimension in paper space but the majority dimension in model space (by using a different dimension style set up for each scale).
Since this will likely be the only chance to get everyone using the same system of dimensioning (while adopting annotative dimensioning), I'd like input on what you consider the most efficient method. The majority of users want to stick to dimensioning in model space. 95% of all drafting is in 2d.
Any words of advice? The desired result is to get the maximum benefits from associative dimensioning, while implementing a standard to simplify training of new employees. I'm sure that some of the great folks here have been down this road before.![]()

It's horses for courses dependant on application, 3d/2d etc (there are sooooo many debates on the pro's & conn's of ps/ms dim'ing it's unreal!)... you're best placed to make the decision for your circumstances.
