I don't know if this is the problem But I have noticed in the past that the FILEDIA system variable has switched on me from 1 to 0 it should be 1 for dialog boxes to appear. Hopefully it is this simple otherwise I have no idea

So here is my problem.... I came into work today and started up ACAD like any other day but I noticed things are very wrong. For example when I go to my XREF manager and click "Attach" nothing happens. No dialog box appears. Same thing happens with the Insert command and Save-As... Does anyone know what is causing this??? It is affecting my work, cause I cant get anything done..
The one thing I noticed is that when I start ACAD and it loads all the files, I get this note on the command line:
Unknown MenuMacroID: ID_LAYMATCH in MacroRef
Unknown MenuMacroID: MMU_1378 in MacroRef
Everything else loads fine. Im thinking it has to do with the second one, I just dont know what that is or where it goes...
Please Help.....

Not really sure what this is telling me to do. It says to reinstall ACAD and stuff but I have to wait for IT to do that. Have you ever came across the problem I am having???
I might add that I moved desk over the weekend, Well I didnt but a co worker moved my stuff for me. I had a four day weekend, in which I welcomed my first child, a little girl. But thats beside the point. I just need to get my ACAD back up and running...
Please Help!!!!
To make it a short story, whoever moved your stuff, messed up your cui. I would try a complete uninstall and reinstall.

Damn, now I have to get ahold of our IT guys...
Thanks for your help
I don't think it had anything to actually do with moving your desk. I think it is more likely you have a problem with a command that was removed in a custom.cui. Did someone else happen to use your workstation while you were away? Anyone else in the office using AutoCAD? If so, do they report a similar problem?
Did you ever customise your main cui? If so, did you keep a copy of the original?

I got it to work again without having to reinstall. I just loaded the default profile and it started to work. Somehow my profile got corrupted. It is all up and running now.
to answer your questions, no one else used my workstation and yes we all use autocad but i was the only one having a problem. I also never customized the main cui (well atleast I dont think I did)...
But anyways, thanks for all the input guys.
