Default Dynamic Blocks - Can they auto scale based on dwg size?

Is it possible to create a dynamic block that will auto-scale based on drawing size?

Probable not. Not by themself, maybe with some help from a VBA code.

We get in vendor dwgs that have to have our dwg number added to them. I've created a block with attributes, and wanted it to scale based on the dwg size and scale. Unfortunately I'm still in the process of trying to get everyone to use paperspace for their title blocks, so until then I need a block version that will scale with the dwg size in modelspace.

Why not create them as annotative blocks?

Maybe because Wolfgrrl uses AutoCAD 2006.
I would try to scale the title date block with a lisp routine. Others may have other ideas.

We will be migrating to 2008 so very soon.....

Annotation looks like the way to go......but I think it would be redundant when we are in paperspace. I can't even find solid proof that they work in paperspace......any clue?

Annotative blocks will work in Paper Space. I've never tried it though.

Looks like you better get on your bosses back, and get that 2008 upgrade fast.
