    how do i get the status toggles at the bottom of the screen (osnap, ortho, polar etc) to show as text rather than icons?

    My 2009 is at work, I only have 2007 at home, but I think from memory, if you go to a pop-up menu on the RHS of the bottom task bar, you can change them to text there. That was one of the first things I did.

    almost right Alan.
    Chris, if you right click on any of the icons, a small list will appear. simply remove the tick next to Use Icons

    guys, is there any requirement for a good configuration of computer for this ACAD 2009?

    btw, im using pentium d @ office with a RAM of 512 MB only
