    Default Global Mtext character change

    (Using AutoCAD 2002)

    Hello
I was wondering of there is a way for me to globally (or selecting multiple) change the Mtext character property? I would like to change most of the text that I have in a drawing from Txt to Arial. Is there a way to accomplish this without adjusting every one individually? I have literally thousands to change. Thank you in advance for any help that you can offer.
    Mike

Hopefully they are using the same text style.
If they are, then just change the font that the text style is using.

No.... there are a few different text styles. But the problem isn't exactly related to plotting. Well... it is - but in a different way.

I plot out hundreds of drawings in DWF format. I have noticed that when I plot the drawings - there are sometimes hundreds of little anomalies that appear in the DWF that are not in the original DWG. These anomalies seem to appear in the vicinity of the text that is contained within the drawing. I have noticed through trial and error - that if I change the text to Mtext - then the little anomalies do not appear in the DWF.

So now I'd like to globally change the text to Mtext and then globally change that Mtext (and any other Mtext contained in the drawing) to use the Arial font as opposed to the Txt font.

Is there a way to do this?
