    Well that sounds very interesting. But to be honest, as was suggested, if there was a single file format, lets be honest, Autodesk aren't going to drop dwg. Are Bentley going to adopt dwg? Wouldn't that be admitting that they are inferior and have an inferior product (not my view, just how it may appear).


    I would be curious where this news came from, and whether it was an in-house joke, or something that was possibly on the cards.

    Can you see Carl Bass making an industry shaking announcement (whether it be file format or anything else, it is bound to be big) at a Bentley event. If I was Carl, it would be an Autodesk event, or neutral territory.

    Anyway, very interesting, cheers Rusty.
