Are there any other ways to convert a DGN to DWG.??? and I do not know the DGN version.? Only know it's not V8 because AA-2008 can not import it.... Thanks.. drwhite Posted July 13, 2010 Share Posted July 13, 2010 Problem: Using AutoCAD Mechanical 2010. Could import dgn file and see dimensions and text. Could not see the text "fractions", but could see dimension fractions. Got to messing with the fontalt, fontmap, and added some of the dgn shx shapes to the acad.fmp file and substituted simplex.shx for those. NOW, I cannot see any text, or any dimensions. In addition, level 1 comes in "off". Turning it on does nothing relative to showing text. What did I screw up? Went back and edited the dgn shx files out of the fmp file, still no text showing. Help!
