Default Polyface Mesh v. 3D Solid

    Hey everyone,

I'm taking screenshots of ACAD drawings to represent them in a 3rd party user interface. They need to be uniform, but some of the drawings are done as 3D solids, while others are polyface mesh. The mesh drawings have isolines visible through them while the 3D drawings do not (using conceptual visual style) and the two look very different when viewed side-by-side.

I'm just wondering if there's a way to get the isolines on the mesh drawing to disappear when behind a face like in the 3D solid.

    Thanks,

    Mcbunn

    You could try ISOLINE 0

Not sure if that will actually remove ALL of them though.

Edit: Actually, if you're using 2009, I *think* there is a tool that can convert the surface to a solid, but I'm not really sure it will work for you, as such tools tend to lose their usefulness as a surface/mesh gets more complicated.

try using the command "vsedges", at the prompt key in a value of 0(zero) see if that helps.
