    Default Station Markers

How on God's green earth do you get a marker to display at each station point along an alignment. I create an alignment from polyline, specify my major and minor station intervals and it creates the alignment with annotation but no markers. I'm extremely frustrated!!!

I'm assuming you have the Standard alignment/alignment label styles applied to your alignment?
Have a look at your major/minor station label styles.

Yeah I did. There doesn't seem to be a place to specify the marker style. the lable style only has options for the text.

    To be specific:

    Toolspace > Settings tab
Expand the Alignment collection > Label Styles > Station > Major/Minor
    Right-click your style > Edit
    Layout tab
See that button with the A and a snowflake? Click the arrow button just to the right of it > Select Tick
Under Block name find the block called Aecc Tick Line
    Click OK

That should get the ball rolling for you.

    Thanks

Great help but I don't have the block. I don't have any blocks for that matter. Where do I get them?

Doh! You know I'm guessing it's in one of the "out of the box" templates.

No problem. This is a good hangout if you need to learn such tasks. Another good place is theswamp.org and augi.com.
