Hi,
Does anyone know why the FIND and REPLACE command in AutoCAD 2009 is soooooooooooooooooooooooo sloooooooooooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwww?
Pre-2009 this command was super-fly but now it takes ages..
Anyway, was wondering a few points on the main command:
1: Why does it reformat mtext? ie: My collegue was trying to replace something with a bulletpoint in front of it, but when it completed, all the bulletpoints in the whole mtext were removed..
2: Is there a way to create multiple search strings in the FIND section and replace it with one? ie: Have it search for 'Door Manufacturer' AND/OR 'Door Supplier' and have them replaced with just 'Door Installer'..
Any ideas?
Cheers,

#1 use a wildcard symbol first then type what you want to replace with after the Symbol
#2 - not sure - I think you have to do them seperate.
Not sure why it is slow?
I'm not having any slow issues in Civil 3d
