    Default Can't open 2005 with 2009???!!!!

    Hi guys-

I just bought 2009 and I keep getting messages that the drawing needs recovery...is this normal?

Oh- and a big THANKS to the person that told me about the "assist" command when my xref window wouldn't pop up!
    What a lifesaver!

Oh and I should mention- I saw a post where I should save it with 2008 to 2007. However, I don't have 2008...can I still do it anyway?
What a pain! I hope they resolve this issue right away....selfishly.

In a nutshell, I create 3D models from the client's CAD files or design sketches, which I then use to produce high quality rendered images. Click on the link in my signature to view my portfolio. I'm always looking for work, so let me know if you need any renders. :)

Actually, once I recover the drawing in 2009, then save it, its fine. I don't have to recover it again and it works perfectly. I guess it's just the initial opening that makes it hiccup.
    Thanks for the message!
