I have received some drawings, in the folder file there is a LTYPE support folder, when I open it there are different file (.shx, .shp and .lin), can anyone tell me what is this and how it works for the received drawings?
    thanks

You should just need the .shx file to show custom linetypes in the received file. You could place this file in the same folder as the drawing when you open it, the shx file should be found. if not you will get a message about missing shx file.

I will place the .shx, .shp and .lin files together in the same folder with the drawings or .shx file only?
    thanks
