Remove these points from the point group you are using in the surface as opposed to deleting the triangle lines.

I'm having a problem getting certain contours to show up after I delete some triangle legs, so certain points would not get triangulated and contoured. But after I deleted the legs, the contours act like their running into a breakline, and stop right at the triangle legs. I have a picture. Any thoughts on getting contours back, so I can produce a profile? I'm using AutoCAD Civil 3D 2007. Thanks for your help

Thanks, Civil 3D has all points point group that I just used, I created another one with the exclusion of the random points. Should I delete the old surface?

You can remove the edits (deleting the lines) to restore that area of the surface and remove the "all" point group and add the new point group you created. No need to delete the surface unless you just want to start one from scratch.
