Tools>Styles and Standards Editor>Click on Material.

Select an existing material.

Click New.

Give it a name and change the properties.

Save

Thank you Sir, that really helped me.

 

But i still have a problem. Styles and Standards Editor Library is read only. so i cannot save the materials in the library.

 

Everytime when i have to assign a material to a part, i have to browse the particular file (material) on my hard disk.

 

Project which i am working on has more than 200 parts, so it takes very long time to browse the file each time.

 

Is there any way to save the material in existing library?
