Default Assigning selected objects to a layer

Registered forum members do not see this ad.

We use Civil3D I am looking for a way to select one or more objects in a drawing and then assign them to a particual layer using a keyboard shortcut:

i.e. a series of Cogo Points that I want to go on say a ground shot freeze layer by selecting the points and then typing Ctl+Shift+G

    Thanks

Default both vba and lisp program will be helful

Both vba nd lisp program will be helpful for attaching material to layer(object) for auto cad 2005/2006.

    Hi shamsam1
When you say materials, are you referring to blocks?

    Oh, I see
You are doing rendering and mapping, correct?
If so, I use to be really into that but I have never automated that process.
