Dynamic block array

I am using ACAD 2008 and trying to create a dynamic block for my company. It is a connector with some attributes within the block. A strectch parameter has been added to the top of the connector to allow the user to expand the top of the connector to match existing connectors within the image. I attached an image.

The problem that i am having is that the cavity attribute needs to be added as the top stretchs. I have tried adding the array action to the stretch parameter. This does not array the cavity attribute. I did test to see if i was doing the steps right for the array on something else and i worked like a charm! However, it does not work with the attributes. How can i get the attributes to array?

Konja,

AutoCAD doesn't recognize Attribues as valid objects for the Array Action, the only work around I see (assuming that you just want to array the Attribute Once,i.e. copy it) is to use the move action instead. You create two identical attributes, so when there is no stretch applied they look like only one, the moment you stretch, one of them moves the same distance that you are stretching.

It is ot a valid solution so far if you need the array to extend further than 2 attributes, but it works for two.
