haha thats a good question. You have so many different options to indicate the date and you want it in caps :D

I can't see a way of doing this i've just tried and failed.... is there a text style you can use that only uses caps? just a thought?

:D its just that everyting in the TB is uppercase, the date looked out of place... been diggin on this since morning and also "tried and failed".

but maybe that text style or a Font may work.

Hi Dave, I tried to input just the

MMMM yyyy %tc1

to match the Field Expression on the lower left part of the screenshot, but once I type in "%" the error occurs.

Im trying to find where i can directly place the entire code posted by ASMI if it is possible.

That was soooooooooooooo incredibly...... easy.

and to think ive been scrounging up google for hours trying to find a solution. maybe LISP,CUI etc would be the next step to improve CADing.

Thanks so much for the tip. cheers mate :D

Hi guys;

Can a Date FIELD be set to all caps?

Instead of September 2008- SEPTEMBER 2008?

TIA

1. DOUBLE-CLICK BLOCK REFERENCE TEXT TO OPEN ENHANCED ATTRIBUTE EDITOR

2. RIGHT-CLICK THE VALUE FIELD AND INSERT FIELD

3. UNDER FIELD CATAGORY NAME CLICK ON DATE, THEN SET THE FORMAT AS NEEDED

PUT "%tc1" WITH NO QUOTES  OR SPACES IN FRONT OF DATE FORMAT TO MAKE IT UPPERCASE

(THIS MEANS TITLE CASE TYPE 1)

4. APPLY CHANGES

EXAMPLE :

%tc1MMM

WILL SHOW MONTH AS THREE LETTERS IN ALL CAPS: I.E. JAN, FEB, MAR, ETC.

HOPE THIS HELPS.
