gsksun4
A friend has AutoCad 2002 and the tabs in the command window, next to the coordinates do not show. These are the snap, grid, ortho, polar, osnap, lwt, model tabs. Any way he can turn them on, or make them show? A toggle perhaps? Any help appreciated. Thanks. BOB'27T
Try this: To turn the drawing status bar on or off Do one of the following: Click Tools menu Options. At the Command prompt, enter options. Then in the Options dialog box, Display tab, select or clear Display Drawing Status Bar. Click the Status Bar Menu arrow at the right end of the status bar and select Drawing Status Bar. A check mark next to Drawing Status Bar indicates that the drawing status bar is turned on.
gsksun4
Bob, thanks for the quick response. The friend is on the road today with his laptop, so I'll print out your suggestions for him. I have 2002LT and in the display tab, there is no "Display Drawing Status Bar". Maybe regular 2002 does have it. You lost me on the "Status Bar Menu arrow" thing. Are you saying there's an arrow at the bottom of the screen in cad next to the model/paper tab? Again, thank you for the help. Glenn
