If you've already installed the program, you'll need to go through Add/Remove programs on the Control Panel. Select AutoCAD MEP 2009 in the list and click the Change/Remove button.

When the Maintenance Mode dialog appears, click on "Add or Remove Features". In the next box, check the option for Express Tools. You'll need the install disk handy to add the Express Tools.

If you haven't installed the product yet, you'll have to click on the Configure button during install and manually select them. They are not installed by default.

Your answer to add/modify with the disk to add express tools... I checked the "Express" and deselected all the other boxes that were checked... does that make any changes to any of the other installation? That wasn't specifically addressed (whether to leave them checked or un-check everything and just check the "express" box)...

I have customized menus, etc. that I do not want to be affected. When I started the procedure, I noticed the status read "removing components..." and I cancelled because I do not want to go through all that again.
