How can I create a script that will open a new drawing, insert a title block and then save? im sure its easy, but ive never made a script before.

Is there also a way for it to update the page number on each one so i dont have to manually?

Thanks

Why don't you just create a Template for your titleblock when starting a new drawing?

And for the page number, use This Method to automate this process. :)

If Your Writing A Script File I'm Really Not Sure That U Can Use It To Open A Drawing But You Can Use It To Build Layers And Set Variables . Just Write In In Note Pad And Save As

you can create a script to open drawings, I do it all the time. It isn't the easiest of scripts to create if you are including lots of file names. I now use a custom VB program to build my file list but I used to build the list from DOS and use excel or find|replace in word pad. For doing what the OP appears to have asked, StykFace's suggestion is easier than scripting.
