blkstang87
Have a question and sorry for sounding like a rookie, im very new to autocad and starting to use it for work a little. But were using AutoCAD Civil3D 2009 and where's the damn 'contour' button. we have a set of points on the drawing with elevation values and all, now we wanna see it in contours. Situation: We went out surveyed a piece of land and wanna see how much dirt its lost from a recent wash of rain. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks. eldon
You have to use the elevation values to build a ground model surface, THEN you can contour.
BOB'27T
Import the points that you have to create your surface. I would suggest that you read the tutorials, like lpseifert suggested.
