Edit Table with Data Link

Hi,

I am trying to edit a table that is linked to an excel sheet that was created by a guy that no longer works here. I have inserted 2 new rows in the excel sheet and have received the bubble on bottom right of Acad 2008 that tells me that the data link needs updating. I update the link but the 2 new rows do not appear. I have attached a screenshot showing the properties of the table if this helps?

Does anyone know what I need to do in order to have the 2 new excel rows to show?

Thanks in Advance

Are you using LT or full Cad? We have this problem in our office too where people using LT try to update and it simply will not update.

If we use full it updates straight away.

If you go into your datalinks and right click edit check specific cells haven't been selected becuase if you have added new rows these will need updating to reflect this.

If all else fails just unload and re-insert the data link again.

I'm using Autocad 2008 I updated the range but the 2 new rows now appear at the top right of the table in my first post - how can I get it to show below the table at the same row heights?

Thanks

Tconn we have wasted many of hours trying to work out datalinks within Autocad. To save yourself many hours just unload the table and re-insert the table again from scratch. This may mess up the scale which is always a problem.

Datalinks dont really like being updates and are very temper mental.

Does it look right in the preview? You could try linking the entire sheet.
