I have set up 3 text styles and have put several notes in model space. When I go to my layout page none of the text is displayed.

Does anyone know what to do, cheers.

check that your layer for your viewports is turned on and that the vport is big enough that you can also see the location of the text.

also try clicking in the viewport and doing a regen.

Cheers but still does not seem to work.

I have set up 3 new text styles and it is these that are not appearing as some other text is still there.

It still does not appear.

If I write new text but don't use any of the 3 new styles it can be seen in the layout page so it must be something to do with the settings in the text styles.

these text styles are annotative.

Try a new layout to see the if problem isn't your layout settings and layout layer settings. also press Ctrl+A when your in your viewport and see if the invisible text grabpoints can be seen?

then check the scales that are visible in the viewport for the annotative text. If the correct scale is not visible then you will not see it displayed

Make sure youre not on Annotative in Model Space . Double click your text in model space, and at the top left check that Annotative is not highlighted in blue. After that, it should appear in layout.

After almost ten years I think the OP might not be to concerned with this problem anymore.

True, but someone else may have the same issue. Every piece of info is valuable.
