Default Visibility of objects when Copying etc.

Is there an equivalent to Dragmode in Autocad Lt 98?
When moving, copying etc. the visibility of the object is gone.

    Thanks

    Welcome to the forum Sterling.

You state, "...the visibility of the object is gone."

Are we to then believe it was present at some time but for some unexplained reason the feature is no longer functional?

My earliest AutoCAD LT version was 97. I no longer have it loaded and cannot recall whether or not dragmode (or its equivalent) was an environmental variable.

I am having difficulty in one drawing only. It was created in Autocad by our customer and saved as R14. When we open in in Autocad LT 98, the phantom outline of the object is not visible when invoking the copy or move command.

have you tried doing a Save As and re-saving it in a more up to date format?
