KnoJa31
I have a spreadsheet that i am linking to. First of all, I set up a table style that suites my needs. Next i formatted an excel to specific requirements. Now when i bring in the data link the margins are incorrect!! I set the data link to format to the excel file. But the general formatting of the file is ok. its the size of the cells that are not right!! They come in wider than what is determined by the excel file. So How do fix this so that the cell width is the same size in both the Excel file and the dwg? Should i format the data link so that it gets its formatting from AutoCAD? chulse
All I can say is that I don't trust DataLinks at all. Use OLE or some other method. I have crashed more times than I can count due to datalinks gone bad...
