    Default Moving Annotative Dims

    Hi guys,

I've got a bunch of annotative dims that I need to move a bit, I have them set to both 1:20 and 1:50 and it's the 1:50 that I see in Model Space. The problem I have is that when I grab a dimension and pull it a bit, I only move the 1:50-version of it. The 1:20 stays where it is. I'm guessing it's a variable (most things are after all) - anyone know how to fix it??

Do you mean move, as in by picking a grip point and dragging ?
If so, I have yet to find a variable that will grab all entities contained within an annotative object. If you are using the real move command, they all should move together, however.

The only thing I have found is to set SELECTIONANNODISPLAY to 1; and move one of the annotations; change your CANNOSCALE to whichever scaled version you wish to move next, then drag the relevant grip to your desired location.
PITA I know, but at the moment, I don't have the knowledge for a more robust method.

yeah.. I remove all other annotations and move it and then add annotative scales when needed...
