hi-liter
my question is a two-parter: first, i am using autocad 09 and just had installed by IT guy but i dont have a QAT. i have open, qnew and sheet something or other when i have just the autocad open, but when i open a drawing i have nothing. i right click up in the area and just the usual restore, close, maximize selection area comes up for the autocad....how come i do not have QAT? shouldn't that be automatic by default or do i need to set it up somehow initially? next, my windows taskbar is set to auto-hide but wont appear while i am in 09. again, is there a tick that needs to be "un-ticked" for 09? thanks
ReMark
Regarding the missing QAT. I've read that resetting the Profile under Options might restore it. Options can be found under the Menu Browser (the big red "A") in the upper left corner of your screen. On the drop-down window click on Options in the lower left hand corner. I'm stumped for the moment re: Taskbar and auto-hide. I'll give it some thought. Keep us updated on your success or failure to resurrect the QAT. hi-liter
QAT has been resurrected....can't really say how i did it though. i switched to classic workspace and that solved both my problems. yay! but now the task bar won't come out of its hole...looks like 6 more weeks of winter
