Hy,
I have to align single line text to a polyline and the result must be that the text is on the polyline ( not fit) with the polyline profile. I have to do this for the name of some streets, and the names supose to be on the street axes. The names are composed from multiple words space separated ( e.g. RUA FERNANDO RODRIGUEZ).
Til now i tried a lsp from cadhedral that seems to be usefull, but i think i can get better.
The names are allowed to be diveded by words so that can follow the polyline profile.
Appreciate any help,
thank you

Hi rkmcswain,
Is the "TAO" text along object command a AutoCAD 2006 command or is there some other utility I have to have to do this? Thanks.

Try THIS LISP routine. load it up and type in ptext to start the command.

Sorry, my message was not very clear. This tool belongs to ToolPac, an add-on program for AutoCAD. Go to http://www.dotsoft.com/toolpac.htm for more details.Originally Posted by kwgray

Hi- this is my first lisp- so i definately don't know how to read the code yet!Originally Posted by good_m
I loaded it and seems good- but do you know if there's anyway to edit it once the text is on the pline? or do i have to delete and start over again?
How do I know if a LISP has options? It seems like it does, but I don't know how to access them.
thanks-
TC
In Case I forget- I'm using AutoCAD 2004!
Thanks always.

I just tried that lisp routine out for the first time and it looks like the text are all separate entities. I would probably just start over rather than trying to find a way to edit it.
