Linetype Error - Bad Definition

I am having trouble with a linetype error. I keep getting a bad definition error when trying to load the linetype. I am using AutoCAD Civil 3D 2009. Occasionally I can get the linetype to load correctly, but it takes a lot of doing, and the next time I try the same solution, it doesn't work. Below is the linetype I am trying to load.

FENCELINE3,Fenceline chain ----X-----X----X-----X----X---

A,.25,-.0005,["X",ROMANS,S=.1,R=0.0,x=-.1,Y=-0.05],-.0005,.25

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Mendy

Be sure the text style named Romans is defined before loading the linetype.

Also, I think there should be a * before FENCELINE3 in the first line.
