Hello all again. hope all are doing good.

Ok i have a problem, and the only place that i thought would help me is HERE :) ....

Ok i designed a floor plan on AutoCAD Architectur 2009 with the scale of 1:200.... ( that's not a problem )

the problem is, that we have to make a model, and use the metric ruler, scale of 1:200, manual. the problem is that i DON'T know how to do that... i can't read it, i don't know how to start, for example, the car parking space is 2500 X 2600 mm , how do i start using the manual scale ?

sorry if i'm not clear  , it's just when i'm confused i get lost and don't know what to do..

thanks in advance

You created your drawing at a scale? Not 1:1? You should always drawing everything at 1:1. Autocad model space is infinite. There is no reason to ever draw anything at a scale.

If you are using a real live ruler, it is sooo much easier if you can get hold of a scale ruler. If you only have an ordinary ruler, then to make a 1 to 200 scale model, you have to divide all your dimensions by 200. Your parking bay would then have to measure (2500/200) by (2600/200) which is 12.5mm by 13mm. :)

 Yes, I created my DWG on the scale of 1:200, that's what our teacher said we have to do . And i printed my floor plan and site plan DWG on a 24"X36" size paper, and I was hoping to build my model right on it.. So i am using this scale (i attached a pic. ) 1:200, and i was kind of not sure how to use it.

That looks as if the units are in metres. So each small division is 1/5th of a metre or 200 mm, and every 5 divisions there is a longer line which marks the metre division which are labelled every 5th line.
