jsankey
Somehow when I go to File, SaveAs, ..... instead of the windows pop-up approach to save in folder X, then folder Y, then folder z etc.......It only allows me to save by typing in the path in the command line. I am not sure how this started or where to go to change it back to normal windows approach. Any help would be great!!!!! Thanks John
dbroada
set FILEDIA =
chulse
If you enter a "~" (tilde) at the command prompt it should bring up a dialog box also. But Dave is right- FILEDIA = 1 will force the box always.
dbroada
hey! that's by usual response!
jsankey
no that is not what I am asking....I mean it will not drop down the path through my different file folders. The only way to save anything is to type in a path in the command line. This is what is shows when I do a FILE SAVEAS. Thanks John
Commandobill
What you just described is solved by what they said. Maybe you are just describing your issue wrong?
bonehead411
So you can SEE the folder hierarchy in the box, but you can't navigate through it to save in a specific folder by the usual mouse click method??
