    i am new in autocad, i can do some shapes but, need help in how to draw a frame, i can do some lines and do the sweep but after that i am lost i cant doit in a diferent level like in another z level. i do work with cnc programing i use the easy cam but to draw i use the AUTOCAD 7.

    Drawing

    Ok! let say 2' x 4' frame with 1.5"x1.5" thickness.First you will need to draw 2'x4' rectangle.Then draw any position with 1.5"x1.5" rectangle .Next you need to start "sweep" command and select a 1.5"x1.5" rectangle then select the 2'x4' rectangle.Now you can see!

    ok that was very helpfull, so now i need to do a roll cage for an off road vehicle that we haveso we need to do it in drawing can you help me

    Offroad, maybe it would be a lot better if you'd follow Strix advise on this. What you are asking are basic questions that looking to answer you from the tutorials of this website, you just have to go through them.
