What year did 'Scale Lineweights' come in, in the Plot dialogue?

Anyone using a version of AutoCAD prior to 2008 and able to shed some light on this?

On 2008/9 there is a little tick box in the Plot settings (Ctrl+P) under where you scale the drawing.

It's labelled "Scale Lineweights" and it scales the line thicknesses defined in your .ctb Plot style depending on the scale you choose to print your drawing.
