Default Calculating lengths from multiple lines

Registered forum members do not see this ad.

    Hello guys
I have a question, we have a mulitple sections of lines, not plines, some are not connected together. But we need the total length of one of these sections. Is there a way we can select the lines and find out the total length of lines?? Thanks

    Similar request recently, see http://www.cadtutor.net/forum/showthread.php?t=29771

Won't the total length show in the "properties" box if only lines are selected? (not at CAD to check).

When all the lines are selected, the length category comes up as "Varies"

There are Lisp routines that will return a running total. All one has to do is search for them in the appropriate places.

I often recommend the CAD Tips section of CADalyst Magazine for those looking for Lisp routines. Membership is free.
