Tipo166
What are "Jigs"? They dont show up in Developers Help (acad2009 help), or in VBA object libraries. Are there any notable resources out there? Thx
borgunit
From my experience, jigs were usually mechanical mechanisms that allowed you to do repetitive tasks quickly (i.e. drill a hole in the same location on a piece of plywood). CmdrDuh
I dont know of a way to use jigs in VBA. You can however use them in C# or vb.net
bsamc2000
Jigs are used to display information to the user. The "move" command uses the draw jig to display the objects being moved. Some people will refer to it as ghosting.
borgunit
Would you have a link to information for this? I would be interested in knowing more.
bertvan
Hi, I just posted an example of a jig on my blog. Since this is my first post, I cannot post links, but just google on cup o cad net or look at my profile. The possibilities go way beyond my simple example, but you might get an idea of what you can do with jigs. And I just realized this a LISP, VBA forum, so you might not find this information very helpful afterall...
