How Autocad handles angles

Where is a good explanation of how autocad handles all types of angles, obtuse etc. Is there a standard form and then is it possible for one to customize the layout to their own preference. Thanks! Berol

well...AutoCAD pretty much handles angles like..well, like when you draw angles... I don't really understand what your asking Berol, what are you trying to do? Or what has happened when you've tried to do what?

when you say your'e after an explanation of how acad handles angles, what do you mean? you just draw them to the size you want, and yes you can customize pretty much everything to do with the angle your'e drawing...

Dimensions maybe?

When you start the dimangular command look at the command line before you do anything else. It is giving you a prompt for the options available.

Select arc, circle, line, or :

Normally we just select the two lines and move on, but if you hit enter you are selecting the option. Now you must pick the vertex and then pick the endpoints (or pick on the lines with nearest osnap), now move your cursor around and you will see the option to define the obtuse angle or the acute angle.

Is that what you were after?
