I would download Rhino and use the 25 save demo and save over to dwg and then open in AutoCAD. I like Acad but not for drawing a car in 3D! I dont think Acad is suitable to draw that, instead 3ds Max should be able to tackle that. An example of what i've seen out there with cars.. shift1313 Posted January 26, 2009 Share Posted January 26, 2009 what i would do is take that blue print and insert it as a raster image and "trace" over it. This will help you setup your views. An example of what i've seen out there with cars.. I Think Rhino is the best among realistic alternatives for 3D modelling of a car.
