Locking tool bars

Is there no way to lock tool bars? I occaisionally miss click an icon near the drag bar and pull the damn thing off. Vary annoying especially locking tool bars has been used since windows 98.

Maybe this will help:

Type:BitcodeSaved in:RegistryInitial value:0

Locks the position and size of toolbars and dockable windows such as DesignCenter and the Properties palette. Locked toolbars and windows can still be opened and closed and items can be added and deleted. To unlock them temporarily, hold down CTRL.

A lock icon in the status bar tray indicates whether toolbars and windows are locked. Right-click the icon to display locking options.

The setting is stored as a bitcode using the sum of the following values:

0

Toolbars and windows not locked

1

Docked toolbars locked

2

Docked or anchored windows locked

4

Floating toolbars locked

8

Floating windows locked

set lockui variable to 8 or right click on a tool bar and should be options there too

 

not on the ball here.......got distracted while typing and didn't see the replys before I posted
