Shift to Aquire

Im using CAD 2007 and as of late whenever i hold/press my shift key, it seems cad is registering it as series of keystrokes. this causes some hardcore hangups and has forced me to switch back to "Automatic alignment point aquisition." Hopefully this explains enough.

thanks!

First, could it be a hardware problem? If you swap your keyboard with someone else's, does it stop happening on your system and start on the other?

Second, by "a series of keystrokes" do you mean one repeated key (such as Enter) or a random sequence? An Enter will repeat the last command or force the default option, so it may seem random.

I dont think its a hardware issue. it seems to be related to different dwg's, which is weird. and yes, its like im hitting enter but it only lags the application.
