Well, how about using the MOVE command, specify the control point at the "first point" prompt and then enter 500,500 at the next prompt.

I need to move the whole drawing to a 500,500 point on the grid. How would I go about this? Please advice

select point in the drawing which you want to go to 500,500 coords
type 500,500
