Default trying to draw a "transition"

Registered forum members do not see this ad.

as per the attached, I need a transition or 'boot' for this classifier to hit the conveyor. The odd part is the 'ellipse' is at a slght angle and the opening in the conveyor is a true circle.

#1 how can I make a transition (what command am I lacking)

#2 how can you keep the mesh from 'twisting when doing a rulesurf. (I've experienced thes for mana manay years)

I did but kept trying "guides", etc.....

I just stayed with the prompts and it worked. Thanks Styke. It looks funny in wireframe but is good when rendered...

the rule surf issue probably has to do with the selection process. glad you go it with loft.
