cadmando2
Looking for some help. Forgive me if you have a hard time understanding or any spelling errors. I've been working seven days a week and just a little tired. :? I work for an HVAC engineering company. First of all comparable troubles moving in 2004 to 2008 AutoCAD. I'm always customizing AutoCAD and MNU file using note pad. Now I'm having some difficulty editing AutoCAD CUI file in a had 2008. You can only modify one line at a time. For instance CADALYST ¾ Tip1937: Tip1937.doc “view port scale factors” I copy and pasted in AutoCAD's 2004 menu. I've only been using AutoCAD 2008 the past two months. And since time is a factor I have very little time at work to figure this out. I'm creating custom toolbars and palette bars in adding custom commands in a pull down. But once I'm finished but would like to be a bowl to install this on other workstations. Since they changed the MNU to CUI I'm fine or more time-consuming just to modify the menu. Can anyone give me any suggestions any websites, links to tutorials on how to customize AutoCAD 2008. And is it true that they're phasing out VBA in AutoCAD. Trying to decide to learn VBA or Auto Lisp.
ReMark
Go to Google and conduct a search. Type the following exactly like you see it: "autocad 2008"+"customize" Exactly: with quotes and plus sign.
