Siberian
I'm trying to remove a dimension style I don't use. AutoCAD tells me it's in use, even though the drawing is brand new and nothing has been drawn. I tried to purge it, but my attempt was futile. Anyone? Cad64
Is the dimension style set as current? Select another dimension style and then try to Purge.

Cad64
Do you have any Frozen layers or layers that are turned Off? Is there anything in paper space? Zoom Extents in paper space and model space to make sure there isn't a dimension out in space somewhere. Also, try Ctrl+A. This will select everything in your drawing, including items that you can't see. If any blue grips appear, hit Delete. Then try Purge again. If none of this works, post the drawing. wannabe
Does it form part of your company standards e.g is it automatically loaded with your template?
CADDict
I've had this happen before and there was no rhyme or reason why it wouldn't delete. I ended up just naming it ZZTOP so it would fall to the bottom of the list.
