BoHiCAAA
Today we use a hpgl file that we convert in ViewCompanion (adapt colours) and save as emf file. This allows a transparent background. If we use HPGL import (a powerpoint plugin v. 1.9.11) to get the drawing in powerpoint we don't have the transparent background. We need this transparent background to color area's. Is there another way to import dwg's in powerpoint that will allow a transparent background??? We are both using Catia v4 on unix and Autocad 2007. ReMark
By transparent do you mean white?
BoHiCAAA
By transparent do you mean white? Not white because we want to place colored areas behind the layout to focus on zones. So the layout is the toplayer and the color layers are lower. If we have to draw the colored areas on top we have to draw to many different areas. eldon
You can make a WMF file with WMFOUT, and if the system variable WMFBKGND is set to 0, then the background is transparent.
