borgunit
Usually you would need to use sendcommand and use the "p", or store your entities in a selection set or collection to "hold them".
SEANT
hi everybody, i am trying to select the previous entity thru vba in autodesk map 2004. can anyone give me idea to proceed. Regards M.Arunachalam M, I assume this post is a continuation to this one: http://www.cadtutor.net/forum/showthread.php?t=31650 and should be considered the correction requested in this statement, “Correct me if I'm wrong but it sounds like you have the original problem figured out.” If you have used: ThisDrawing.Utility.GetEntity acent, bpt, "select the line :" And you are trying to get the reference to that selected object, you don’t have to bother with “Previous” just use the acent reference. If you expect it to be a Line then Dim entLine as AcadLine . . . . If TypeOf acent Is AcadLine then Set entLine = acent Else ‘some contingency code End If
